The answer is, everyone! Hear us out ~ typically the first question we ask of a childcare provider is, "do you have your recent first aid certification"?
Yet often, primary caregivers do not have recent training. Why is that? Studies suggest that we tend to believe that nothing "bad" will happen when our little ones are with us. That line of thinking is quite normal; we are all guilty of it.
The Canadian Paediatric Society states that “deaths from choking occur in the home environment in up to 95% of cases.”
This is the reality, and acknowledging that an accident can happen at any time, anywhere to anyone is the first step. Knowing what to do in an emergency can, and does, save lives.
Anyone with an infant in their care needs to know what to do in the event of an emergency.
Boldly stated, anyone caring for an infant or child needs to take a first aid and CPR class.

We think the best time is NOW, while it’s top of mind. Most parents and caregivers come to class when they are expecting, and in our opinion, that is the ideal time. Here’s why ~ once baby arrives your focus and time will revolve around them. We want you to have these skills before they arrive. If that is not possible (or that time has already passed) we totally understand and we welcome you AND them to attend class together.
Our second most popular time to attend a class would be around 4 months of age, as you’re preparing mentally to begin to think about starting solids and potentially even baby led weaning. Regardless of when you choose to attend, the fact that you learn these skills is what is most important and that you do not delay learning them.
If you have additional questions not covered here in our FAQ or need help deciding which class type suits your learning style best please connect with us HERE.

We love seeing your little ones! If they’re comfortable in a carrier, car seat, or stroller, then it’s a great fit. But our venues are not set up for kids to roam freely. In that case, we suggest our private class options.

We know that managing schedules can be tricky, especially when time zones come into play. To help you effortlessly navigate the timing of your class, we’ve compiled some important information on how your device’s settings can impact what you see. The below steps will ensure that you're always on track, whether you're joining us from home or on the go.
Checking Your Device's Time Zone:
iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Date & Time. You'll see your current time zone.
Android: Go to Settings > System (or General Management) > Date & Time. Your current time zone will be shown.
Choosing the Right Setting for you:
Automatic (Recommended for Travelers):
Toggle Set Automatically to ON. This uses your location to update the time zone based on where you are. Ideal if you travel outside your usual time zone.
Note: Ensure Location Services (iPhone: Settings > Privacy; Android: Settings > Location) and either Wi-Fi or Mobile Data are enabled to allow accurate updates.
Manual (Recommended for Non-Travelers):
Toggle Set Automatically to OFF. You can then manually select your city, which sets your time zone accordingly.
Important: If you choose this setting, remember to update it manually if you travel, as it won't adjust automatically.
Benefits of Each Setting:
Automatic: Ensures your appointment times always match your current location's time zone—perfect for those who frequently travel.
Manual: Keeps appointment times consistent according to the time zone of your choice, ideal if you remain in the same time zone and prefer stability.
